About Dr Yik Lim
Biography:
Dr Yik Lim graduated from University of Melbourne and completed his obstetrics and gynaecology specialty training at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Victoria. Following a senior registrar year in the United Kingdom, he spent a further four years of subspecialty training in urogynaecology in Queensland and Victoria. During his training, he received multiple awards which included Brown Craig Travelling Scholarship (to learn urogenital fistulae repair in India), Bill Boyd Black Bottle Award and Christopher Kohlenberg medal (for best research presentations) as well as AMS Travelling Scholarship to attend ICS meeting in Netherlands (for top scoring urogynaecology subspecialty examination in Australia). He was awarded his fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in 2004 and his subspecialty Certificate in Urogynaecology (CU) in 2007.
